The Columbia Fire Company No. 1 is located in a small town called Osceola Mills. We are at the corner of Curtin and Pruner Streets at 140 Curtin St, Osceola Mills, PA 16666. We run approximately 150 calls a year. We run flooded basements to working house fires. The majority of our calls are motor vehicle accidents. We have 5 pieces of apparatus. We have 3 engines. One is a 2006 Pierce Enforcer one is a  1972 Mack CF and the other is a 1987 Pierce Lance. We have a 2004 Chevy Silverado for a utility and a 1979 Army Duce and a half for a brush truck for wildfires in the woods. We have many fundraisers throughout the year. We have Bingo every Tuesday night. Doors open at 5:00 pm and bingo starts at 7:00 pm. We hold Sunday dinners on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Dinners start at 11:00 am and end at 1:30 pm. We have a fish dinner on the first Friday of every month. Dinner starts at 4 pm and ends at 7 pm. During lent we have fish dinners every Friday. We also have fundraisers like lottery ticket sales, hoagie sales, ham and cheese sales.

The Columbia Fire Co. has many dedicated members that are there to help you in your time of need. They wake up at 2 am when the pager goes off, they leave a full dinner plate waiting on the table, they leave family functions to help you. They know they may not make it back to their families but that is a chance they take.

The fire service has taken a dramatic drop. No one has the interest to do this but this is a service that NEEDS to be done. There are many fire companies that have closed their doors because of lack of manpower or lack of funds.

Stop by and take a look at what us fireman have to learn and do before they can become a firefighter. There are multiple trainings they have to go through. There is a lot to learn. Just stop by and someone will give you a tour of the firehouse. If you want an application just ask! Hope to see you!!!!!
