Today at 4:45am the Columbia Fire Co. was alerted to assist Department 57 (Philipsburg) with a working dwelling fire at 428 Thompson St, Thompson's Curve. Initial call reported a working garage fire attached to a dwelling. Dept. 57 arrived o/s with a working dwelling fire and requested Engine 22-2 and multiple other units. Engine 22-2 responded with 5 and command advised to set up a tanker shuttle at the beginning of Thompson St. Engine 22-2 was to draft out of dump tank and supply Engine 1210 who supplied Engine 1110 who laid a driveway lay. After water supply was established crew from Engine 22-2 was advised to send available manpower to the scene for relief. Crew then went to the scene and assisted units with fire suppression and overhaul.
